Purpose
The Educational Ministries Emphasis is designed to equip students for servant leadership in educational ministry in order to assist the church in fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Objectivese
The Educational Ministries Emphasis will enable the student to:
• Think about educational issues from a Christian worldview.
• Articulate a developing philosophy of Christian education that is biblically, educationally, and historically sound.
• Apply educational theories and principles in cultural context.
• Teach people in various phases of development.
• Nurture believers toward spiritual growth and leadership within the Christian community.
• Grow in relationships with God and people. |
