Description In God’s infinite wisdom, He has chosen to have the message of salvation proclaimed through human instruments. Many channel of service are open to the Christian who chooses to become God’s instrument. Great Lakes Christian College is dedicated to prepare students for the ministry. Students in the Christian Ministries Major are provided the basic, specialized, and practical skills necessary for the work of the ministry. Graduates completing this degree will be able to: Effectively interpret and communicate the Word of God; Develop a philosophy of ministry that is consistent with Scripture; Administer local church ministries; Articulate leadership principles applicable to the local church; Articulate a vision for the church that includes church growth and world evangelism; Speak relevantly to the crucial issues faced by society and the church.
